Garden Yoga with Georgia Sinimbu

Embark on a journey combining breath regulation with movement. Listen to your breath and practice how to be. This is an invitation to clear the path to envision yourself at your absolute best. You'll learn and practice different breathing techniques to stay present, release old patterns, and choose your own depth of experience in a safe, supportive environment.

This practice begins by connecting with your breath to bridge body and mind, then following your breath rhythm with yoga poses to warm your body, encourage circulation, and release tension. This sequence is suitable for all-levels while preparing you for the inner work to follow. The second half features active breath work, a potent practice that can facilitate deep emotional and physical release. Ending with a guided meditation to integrate the experience.

Facilitated by Georgia Sinimbu, who spent years as an ecologist in Brazil's Amazon rainforest before moving to Portland, OR, where she committed to yoga as her path to healing and transformation. Teaching since 2016, she weaves lessons from nature into her classes through breath regulation, somatic movement, and flow yoga. Georgia is a certified breathwork facilitator, who completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, trauma-informed movement certification, and a 85-hour prenatal training, but her deepest education came from the courageous work of reclaiming her own body and life through daily activities. She believes yoga and breathwork are daily self-revolution, an opportunity to shed what no longer serves us and step fully into who we're meant to be. Her classes create space for you to listen to your body's wisdom, follow your breath's natural rhythm, and remember that every moment offers a chance to begin again.
